The Viaero Event Center, previously known as the Kearney Events Center and FirsTier Event Center, is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Kearney, Nebraska. It opened on November 2000 as the Tri-City Event Center. It is home to the Tri-City Storm ice hockey, Nebraska Cranes basketball and Tri-City Diesel arena football teams. Seating capacity for hockey, basketball and arena football is 4,047.
The arena features 14 luxury suites and also plays host to concerts, trade shows, conventions and other events.
The ''Kearney Hub'' announced on June 3, 2009 that Kirk Brooks, the new owner of the facility, is drawing up plans to renovate portions of the building and build a addition that would include new locker rooms, a weight room, a workout facility and other amenities. The projected cost of the renovations would be between $1 million and $1.3 million.〔
